Projects

I've always loved using my communication skills to uplift others' stories—both professionally and through passion projects. Below, you'll find a mix of that work with links to the original sources. If any of them pique your interest, feel free to reach out. I'm always excited to chat with other creatives or anyone interested in digital storytelling.
Vermont Public
For Vermont Public I reported and produced feature length stories to an audience of 10K+ listeners, collaborating with audio engineers and newsroom leads to script, record, and publish stories relevant to local Vermonters. Two highlights included producing features covering the legalization of sports betting and librarians stepping up to provide social services for the unhoused. All stories were self-edited in Adobe Audition.
The BPL Watch & UVM Dinner Time
These were two passion projects aimed to connect students at both Tamalpais High School (The BPL Watch)* and the University of Vermont (UVM Dinner Time). The goal was to interview students who connected listeners to campus culture, highlighting team sports, clubs, events, and anything else that sparked student interest.

Both shows developed a community around them, with many viewers and listeners submitting topic and guest suggestions, as well as purchasing merchandise from our Teespring store which amounted to over $300+ donated to the Marin Food Bank.

* My co-creator and I decided to pass down The BPL Watch's Instagram account for other high school seniors to use when we graduated in 2020. To see my work on the account, you will need to scroll down to the bottom of the page.

BeWellUVM
Ahead of my graduation from UVM in 2024, I led a social media campaign for BeWellUVM to celebrate Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. I shot and edited content, interviewing students and licensed counselors to destigmatize the idea that seeking therapy was weak. As someone who greatly benefited from therapy in college, it was a very meaningful project and one I'm proud of. You can check out one of my clips from a podcast episode to the right.
Community News Service
At UVM, I joined the Community News Service, a program dedicated to local reporting in Vermont. There, I frequently published stories for publications such as The Waterbury Roundabout, The White River Valley Herald, and Vermont Public. Some of my favorite pieces include covering a major flood that devastated local farmers, reporting on high school playoff basketball games, and profiling an artist during her studio’s opening week. I believe these represent my passion for giving voice to communities after moments of disruption, celebration, and change.

SJ RADIO
A solo podcast created to share the stories of others, interviewing friends, classmates, co-workers, professors, and more on wide-ranging topics. All episodes were edited in Adobe Audition to provide a smooth listening experience.

In a recent episode, I sat down with Tyler Doggett, a philosophy professor at UVM, to talk about ChatGPT in the classroom and grapple with what is and isn't cheating.
Multimedia Documentary Final
For our final project in MMD, students were asked to create a 3 - 5 minute film exploring a story that is personally meaningful to you. I chose basketball as my medium to document the many ways it has changed my life for the better. The short film got lots of laughs and was later shown to the following year’s class as an example of how personal storytelling doesn't require elaborate production to resonate.
Novo Holdings Press Release
While working as a Strategic Communications Associate at H/Advisors Abernathy, I drafted the press release announcing Novo Holdings’ portfolio company Kate Farms’ acquisition by Danone. The release translated complex investment and healthcare details into clear, strategic messaging for stakeholders and media audiences.
